The Snap, Crackle, Stretch

Around 11 weeks, it hit—this weird, stretching, crampy feeling low in the belly. Not quite pain, but definitely not subtle. It caught her off guard every time she stood up too fast or sneezed while sitting down. Round ligament pain, they called it. Felt more like a surprise attack.

Now at 22 weeks with her third, it’s familiar territory. By weeks 17–18, it always eases off a bit. But that’s when the joints start to feel… slippery. Like everything’s loosening just a little too much.
